Woman Hits Dementia Patient with Pipe

(TWIN FALLS, ID) – A Twin Falls woman stands accused of beating a dementia patient with a metal pipe. Sixty-two-year-old Jordana Bryan runs the Iris House Alternative Living nursing home. Last month, Bryan was arrested after local police and the state Department of Health and Welfare learned about a man who’d suffered a large cut to his head. An aide later told investigators that Bryan had beaten the man. Bryan’s certificate to run the home has been suspended, and she is now out on bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday.
