17 Pounds of Meth Seized in Drug Bust

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – More than 17 pounds of methamphetamine were seized in a major drug bust in Bonneville County last week. Authorities also recovered 2.5 pounds of marijuana, 46 grams of cocaine, and $8,300 in cash. Law enforcement officers representing seven departments from city, county, state, and federal agencies coordinated two search operations at the same time last Thursday. One was on Lomax in Idaho Falls, and another was on Hitt Road about three miles north of town. Three suspects remain in custody at the Bonneville County Jail.
