4.4-Magnitude Quake Wakes Up Many Near Los Angeles
Published at(LOS ANGELES) — Many residents near Los Angeles were woken up by a 4.4-magnitude earthquake on Monday.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake struck at 6:25 a.m. local time, about 6 miles northwest of Westwood, Calif.
The tremor, which had a depth of 5.3 miles, was first reported to be a magnitude 4.7.
So far, there have been no reports of injuries or damage.
