(BLACKFOOT, ID) – A Blackfoot woman will serve 30 days in jail and spend five years on probation for insurance fraud.  Forty-two-year-old Maria Ramirez gave her Blue Cross of Idaho insurance information to a man with whom she was involved in a relationship. The man, who authorities identified as Juan Rojas-Torres, then posed as Ramirez’s husband in order to have eight teeth removed. Prosecutors say the pair would’ve gotten away with the fraud were it not for Ramirez’s real husband, who needed to have one of the same teeth extracted early last year under the same insurance plan.
