Buccaneers Sign Offensive Tackle Anthony Collins
Published at(NEW YORK) — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed offensive tackle Anthony Collins Thursday.
According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, it’s a five-year, $30 million deal that includes $15 million guaranteed.
The 6-foot-6, 308 pound tackle had played his entire six year NFL career for the Cincinnati Bengals.
Collins finally got playing time last season when veteran left tackle Andre Whitworth missed a few games with a knee injury. Collins did well in place of Whitworth and ended up playing in 15 games without allowing a sack.
Collins becomes the sixth unrestricted free agent to join the Bucs since Tuesday.
