District 91 Ends Driver’s Ed Program
Published atIdaho Falls School District 91 has become the first district in the region to dump its driver’s education program.
Administrators announced the move Tuesday following a vote from the school board. They say a lack of instructors and low student enrollment prompted them to end the program. The district has had to compete with a rising number of private driving instruction companies in recent years, who also have prices comparable to those being offered at Idaho Falls and Skyline high schools.
