Kaminsky had 19 points as the two-seed shot 52 percent from the floor overall.

Taking on a Baylor squad that was praised for their zone defense, Wisconsin knifed right through the Bears to a 14-point lead in the first half. The Badgers then used some key passing to find open shots and spread the defense en route to the rout. Ben Brust hit three of the team’s six three-pointers, scoring 14 points in the win.

Wisconsin (29-7) held the Bears to a season-low 16 points in the first half as Baylor (26-12) missed 12 of their first 15 shots. That was largely due to the six blocks Kaminsky registered along with his offensive output. Cory Jefferson had 15 points in the loss, helping Baylor reach their third Sweet 16 in the last five years.

The Badgers will now take on Arizona on Saturday with a trip to the Final Four on the line. Head Coach Bo Ryan has never been past the Elite Eight, reaching this level just once with Wisconsin in 2005.
