Maclin’s deal will pay him up to $6 million, with $3.5 million guaranteed.

The 25-year-old Maclin missed all of last season, the final year of his rookie deal, after tearing his ACL during training camp. The Eagles had actually offered Maclin a long-term deal, but he now has a chance to reestablish his value if he proves to be healthy in 2014.

“I think everybody likes each other,” Maclin said when talking about his familiarity with the Eagles organization. “That’s what does it. You feel comfortable. It’s a home environment. It’s about believing in them and having trust in them. They stuck to everything they said. That’s the type of place I want to be.”

In 2012, Maclin caught 69 passes for 857 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Eagles have also rewarded wide receiver Riley Cooper, center Jason Kelce, and tackle Jason Peters with new contract this offseason.
