ESPN: QB Jason Campbell Agrees to Join Bengals
Published at(NEW YORK) — Quarterback Jason Campbell has agreed to one-year deal with the Cincinnati Bengals, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
The 32-year-old Campbell was released March 12 by the Cleveland Browns. He now joins his old head coach in Oakland, Hue Jackson, who is now the offensive coordinator for the Bengals.
A former first-round pick out of Auburn, Campbell has played eight NFL seasons split between the Redskins, Raiders, Bears, and Browns. During that time he has compiled a 32-47 record, completing 60.3 percent of his passes for 16.697 yards, 87 touchdowns, and 60 interceptions.
