(NEW YORK) — There’s no hope left for Raising Hope. Fox has cancelled the comedy after four seasons.
The network announced Monday that Raising Hope will come to an end with back-to-back episodes on Friday, April 4. The final episode will feature a musical performance by Kenny Loggins.
In a statement, executive producer Mike Mariano said the crew planned the fourth-season finale “with this possibility in mind.”
Raising Hope, which premiered in the fall of 2010, focuses on a dysfunctional family raising a girl named Hope. Martha Plimpton and Cloris Leachman were both nominated for an Emmy Award for their roles on the show.
