Harvick has now won five Sprint Cup races at Phoenix, including the last two he’s been in.

“This has been a great place for us man as we’ve gone through the years,” Harvick told ESPN. “I grew up racing here in the mid-nineties. Lot of the same characteristics even with the repave have come into play. Flat tracks is what I’ve grown up racing on and I’ve been fortunate to have a lot of success racing on them.”

Harvick earns his first victory for Stewart-Haas Racing, the team he joined after leaving Richard Childress Racing at the end of last season.

Dale Earnhardt Jr., who won last weeks Daytona 500, finished second, pole sitter Brad Keselowski came in third and Joey Lagano and Jeff Gordon, respectively, rounded out the top five.
