(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – The Idaho Falls City Council is considering ways to ease traffic congestion at the intersection of Hitt Road and 17th Street. As of now, officials are looking at the possibility of adding designated right-turn lanes, but they need to talk to Ammon administrators in order to finalize their plans. Experts say congestion will likely continue to increase along Hitt Road, especially with the arrival of Cabela’s next year. A joint meeting with Ammon city leaders has been tentatively scheduled for April 18.
