Idaho Falls, Feds Reach Agreement on Greenbelt Management
Published at(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – The Idaho Falls city council has approved a $6,000 agreement with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Wildlife Services to help manage waterfowl along the Greenbelt. Authorities say many of the geese and ducks have lost their fear of humans, which can cause major problems, including the spread of diseases. A large number of the birds will likely be captured and relocated to ensure that the Greenbelt remains safe and clean.
