(SALT LAKE CITY, UT) – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced that it is pulling all foreign missionaries out of Venezuela due to safety concerns. All 152 being moved will either be transferred to other missions or released early. Civil unrest has been rampant in the region since early February due to soaring monetary inflation and a lack of basic necessities like flour and cooking oil. Over 25 people have been killed in riots nationwide.
