(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – A man was arrested Wednesday morning after allegedly punching an Idaho Falls police officer during a traffic stop. Twenty-four-year-old Glenn Campbell was was driving a pickup along the 2400-block of South Yellowstone when he was stopped for a minor traffic violation. Authorities say Campbell became combative with the officer during the stop, and struck the officer in the chest. He remains in the Bonneville County Jail on a felony charge of battery on an officer as well as inattentive driving and resisting arrest.
