Minivan-Into-Ocean Mom Charged with Attempted Murder

Volusia County Corrections(DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.) — The South Carolina mother who reportedly drove her minivan into the ocean in Florida has now been charged with three counts of attempted murder.
On Tuesday, Ebony Wilkerson drove her minivan into the ocean in Daytona Beach with her three children trapped inside. Lifeguards and bystanders helped get the family to shore.
Wilkerson, 32, is from Cross, S.C. Her children are 3, 9, and 10 years old.
According to the Volusia County Sheriff, Wilkerson is being booked in the country jail on Friday.
