Cuaron and J.J. Abrams are executive producers of Believe, premiering Monday night. It focuses on a 10-year-old girl named Bo, who has special powers such as levitation and telekinesis. Those powers make her a target of “malevolent forces” that aim to manipulate them.

Bo receives protection in the form of Tate, a wrongfully-imprisoned death row inmate.

Cuaron co-wrote and directed the pilot for Believe, which airs Monday at 10 p.m. Eastern time on NBC.
