(WASHINGTON) — President Obama will meet with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in the Oval Office on Monday.
“The president looks forward to reviewing with President Abbas the progress in the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations,” according to the White House. “They will also discuss our continuing effort to work cooperatively to strengthen the institutions that can support the establishment of a Palestinian state.”
Monday’s meeting comes two weeks after Obama met with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu at the White House.
