Report: Browns Agree To Contracts With LB Dansby & S Whitner
Published at(CLEVELAND) — The Cleveland Browns agreed to contracts with free agent linebacker Karlos Dansby and free agent safety Donte Whitner on Tuesday, according to ESPN.
Dansby received a four-year deal worth $24 million, which includes $14 million guaranteed. Whitner signed a four-year contract worth $28 million.
The 33-year-old Dansby played with the Arizona Cardinals last season, recording 122 tackles along with six and a half sacks and four interceptions.
The 28-year-old Whitner suited up with the San Francisco 49ers in 2013. In 16 games, he had 73 tackles, two interceptions and one forced fumble.
