(NEW YORK) — The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed kicker Steven Hauschka to a three-year, $9.15 million contract, according to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport says the deal includes $3.35 million in guaranteed money.
The 28-year-old Hauschka from Needham, Mass. made 33 of 35 field goal attempts during the regular season last season. He was great in the postseason as well, making all eight of his attempts.
Hauschka’s NFL career began in 2008 with Baltimore. Since then he’s played short periods of time with Minnesota, Atlanta, Detroit and Denver before coming to Seattle in 2011.
Hauschka is now the 11th-highest paid kicker in the NFL, according to Spotrac.com.
