ESPN is reporting the deal is worth $3.85 million along with a $950,000 signing bonus.

This past season, the Steelers had just the 28th ranked rushing offense in the NFL, hardly what you expect from a team like the Steelers.

Blount will provide a steady and reliable backup option for LeVeon Bell, who struggled at times during his rookie season in 2013.

Last season, Blount got his career back on track as he ran for 772 yards, his highest mark since 2011, and also scored a career-high seven touchdowns while with the New England Patriots.

Bell wound up rushing for 860 yards in his rookie campaign, but did on while averaging just 3.5 yards per carry.
