(TWIN FALLS, ID) – Two BASE jumpers were seriously hurt in Twin Falls after their parachutes failed to deploy Monday.  Twenty-four-year-old James Rawe of Draper, Utah and an unidentified companion had plans to jump from the 486-foot Perrine Bridge overlooking the Snake River Canyon. Both men, who jumped at the same time, became entangled in one another’s parachutes, sending them plummeting to the canyon floor. Rawe was taken by ambulance to St. Luke’s in Twin Falls and is expected to survive. The other man remains in serious condition at a Boise hospital.
