(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Two people were killed in traffic accidents in eastern Idaho over the weekend.  On Friday afternoon, 31-year-old Brett Payne of Pocatello lost control of his SUV along I-15 north of Chubbuck. Payne, who was not wearing a seat belt, overcorrected and went off the right shoulder in the southbound lanes. He later succumbed to his injuries at Portneuf Medical Center. On Saturday afternoon, 37-year-old Richard Jones of Idaho Falls crashed his motorcycle at the intersection of Lincoln and Bone roads near Iona and died at the scene. Speed is considered a major factor in that accident.
