The 30-year-old Moulson, who has now been traded twice this season, has played in 55 games this season with the Islanders and Sabres. During that span, he had 17 goals and 21 assists. He is in the last season of his deal with a $3.133 million cap hit.

McCormick, 30, has split time between Buffalo and Rochester of the AHL this season. In the 29 games he has played for the Sabres, McCormick has one goal and four assists.

Mitchell, 29, signed a three-year, $5.7 million deal with the Wild in the summer of 2012. He’s been a part of the Wild’s fourth-line this season and has one goal and eight assists.

The Wild (34-21-7, 75 pts) are currently the seventh seed in the Western Conference, while the Sabres (16-35-8, 44 pts) are in last place in the East.
