Zac Efron Says “High School Musical” Reunion Could Happen
Published at(LOS ANGELES) — Zac Efron’s role in his latest film, Neighbors, is definitely naughtier and raunchier than his days starring in Disney’s High School Musical. Still, the actor says he could definitely see filming a reunion.
“We’re all thinking about it,” the 26-year-old told E! News, while promoting Neighbors, in which he portrays a wild college student who clashes head on with a young family that moves next door to his fraternity house.
“I continue to see all the guys from High School Musical and every time we do it’s like — I don’t know — there’s just this look between us,” he continued. “It’s so cool because we never forget a single moment of that experience. As soon as you see Corbin [Bleu], Lucas [Grabeel], anybody, it just brings you right back to those days.”
The High School Musical franchise was launched in 2006 as a TV movie on the Disney Channel. That was followed by High School Musical 2 in 2007 and a 2008 feature film titled High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
