Authorities Obtain Warrant for Bieber’s Instagram Account in Egg-Throwing Case

Sara Jaye Weiss/STARTRAKS PHOTO via ABC(LOS ANGELES) — A new report states that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department obtained a search warrant last month for Justin Bieber’s Instagram account, in connection with his egg-throwing incident.
The search warrant centers around a photo that Justin posted to Instagram on Jan. 9, the same day he allegedly threw eggs at a neighbor’s home in Calabasas.
Authorities reportedly are attempting to match the sweatshirt Justin wore in the picture with a shirt worn by a person who appears in footage taken by the singer’s surveillance camera, in the area of the alleged incident, on the day in question.
The search warrant notes that Justin appeared to be “high-fiving” others and “celebrating” after the alleged incident.
Prosecutors have yet to decide whether to charge Justin in connection with the matter.
