Bill Haas Leads At The Masters

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(AUGUSTA, Ga.) -- Bill Hass is on top of the leaderboard at the Masters after finishing the first round with a 4-under 68 on Thursday.

Haas made six birdies and two bogeys to put him one stroke ahead of defending champion Adam Scott, Louis Oosthuizen and 2012 winner Bubba Watson. Scott birdied the first, sixth, eighth, tenth and 14th hole while suffering a double bogey on 12.

Two-time Major champion Rory McIlroy is three shots off the pace, recording four birdies and three bogeys.

Three-time Masters champion Phil Mickelson finished the day at four over, after double bogeying the seventh and 15th hole.
