(BLACKFOOT, ID) – Administrators in the Blackfoot School District are speaking out about rumors concerning the future of its music programs. Superintendent Chad Struhs says the Sixth Grade School will keep its popular band program, and may even add a strings section thanks to a pending federal grant. Struhs and others hoped to clarify that the district is maintaining its commitment to promoting the performing arts, and that all rumors to the contrary are false.
