Bodies Found in Separate Incidents in Bannock County

(POCATELLO, ID) – Bannock County authorities are working to determine what took the life of two women in separate incidents Thursday. Reports indicate that a body was found inside a vehicle in the Mink Creek area just after 7 p.m. A preliminary investigation concluded that the woman may have taken her own life. Around the same time, crews responded to a house fire in Inkom on the 300-block of Stephen Street. Officials believe a woman inside the home likely died of smoke inhalation. The names of both women have not been released, pending notification of family.
