Cranston won three Emmy Awards for his portrayal of the series’ lead character, Walter White, a chemistry teacher who turns to dealing methamphetamine after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. He says of the character, “Walter White taught me a lot — some of it useful, some of it dangerous.”

The 58-year-old actor goes on to say, “With this book, I want to tell the stories of my life and reveal the secrets and lies that I lived with for six years shooting Breaking Bad.”

Cranston had comedic roles in TV shows including Seinfeld and Malcolm in the Middle before taking a dramatic turn in Breaking Bad. He’s currently starring as the 36th president of the United States, Lyndon B. Johnson, on Broadway in All the Way.
