Watson shot a -4 under 68 Friday and is currently -7 under for the tournament.  He takes a three-shot lead into the weekend over John Senden.

Defending champion Adam Scott, 20-year-old Jordan Spieth, and Fred Couples remain in the hunt heading into the weekend.

“If I can hit greens that means I’ve hit good tee shots, and I hit good irons shots and just trying to make par from there and throw in a birdie here and there,” Watson said.

The Masters cuts to the top 50 and ties through 36 holes and anyone else within 10 shots of the lead.  Among those missing the cut were Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, and Rory McIlroy.
