Various off-the-field incidents resulted in Williams falling out of favor with the Bucs. The latest occurred in March when he was hospitalized after being stabbed in the thigh by his brother, Eric Baylor.

Despite the incidents, Williams is still just 26-years-old and should be a big contributor to the Bills offense.

He will also be reunited with his former college coach at Syracuse, Doug Marrone, who recently completed his first season as the Bills head coach.

“Mike Williams is a competitive, tough wide receiver who has the size and athleticism to add competition to our receiver position group,” Marrone said in a release.

Due to injuries, Williams played in just six games in 2013 and was limited to jst 22 catches for 216 yards.

In 2012, Williams caught 63 passes for 996 yards while also catching nine touchdowns.
