Diamondbacks Place OF Mark Trumbo On 15-Day DL

iStockphoto(CHICAGO) -- The Arizona Diamondbacks placed outfielder Mark Trumbo on the 15-day disabled list Thursday because of a stress fracture in his left foot. No timetable has been set for his return.

On the season, the 28-year-old is batting .210 with seven home runs and 19 RBI in 21 games.

The D-Backs acquired Trumbo this past off-season in a three-team trade with the Los Angeles Angels and Chicago White Sox. During his time with the Halos, he batted .250 with 95 homers and 284 RBIs in 460 games.

To fill Trumbo’s spot on the roster, Arizona recalled outfielder Roger Kieschnick from Triple-A Reno.
