(REXBURG, ID) – Authorities are investigating an explosive substance that was found at Beaver Dick Park west of Rexburg Sunday.  A man reportedly found some material and threw it in the water where it exploded. On Monday, deputies found more explosive material and immediately notified the Idaho Falls Bomb Team before proceeding. Experts say it isn’t uncommon for recreational explosives like Tannerite to be used in the area, but haven’t identified exactly what it was.
