(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – A health care industry lobbying group has given Idaho hospitals an “F” grade for their pricing of surgeries and other treatment. The Catalyst for Payment Reform is criticizing the Gem State’s lack of transparency when it comes to letting consumers know the price of procedures ahead of time. Executives at Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls say they’re developing pricing guides for their website and offering quotes over the phone. Other administrators say it’s difficult to know pricing ahead of time because every case is different
