ISU Preparing for NCAA Meal Changes

(POCATELLO, ID) – Athletic coaches at Idaho State University are preparing for possible changes to the way student athletes receive meals. The NCAA is considering a plan to allow unlimited meals for athletes following a claim from a University of Connecticut basketball player that he and his teammates were going to bed hungry at night. ISU currently allows three meals per day, but an optional fourth meal may now be in the works. Officials believe the plan will be approved, and will go into effect as early as August 1.
