Chapman is one of the better closers in the game, but was struck in the face by a line drive during spring training.

He had a plate inserted into his forehead and is currently on the disabled list. Chapman is expected back sometime in May.

Broxton is still recovering from forearm surgery he had last year, but he is no stranger to closing games. During his tenure with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Broxton was one of the premier closers in Major League Baseball. He saved 58 games from 2009-2010, but poor playoff performances and injuries derailed his career.

Last season, the 29-year-old Broxton went 2-2 with a 4.11 ERA with no saves.
