On the cover of the issue hitting newsstands this Friday, the Veep star appears nude, with the U.S. Constitution and John Hancock’s signature printed on her back. The only problem: the Founding Father didn’t sign the Constitution; as many Rolling Stone readers pointed out in a comments section on the magazine’s website. He put his Hancock on the Declaration of Independence.

Louis-Dreyfus addressed the mistake Wednesday on her Twitter feed with a humorous reference to her HBO comedy. She wrote, “Hancock signed Dec. of Independence NOT Constitution. Yet another Mike f***-up. Dummy.”

Mike McClintock, played by Matt Walsh, is the communications director for Louis-Dreyfus’ Vice President Selina Meyer.

A publicity director for Wenner Media, which publishes Rolling Stone, offered a different explanation to the New York Daily News: “The Declaration of the Independence is on the other side but we couldn’t fit in all the signatures.”
