(OPAL, WY) – About 100 residents living in a small southwest Wyoming town have been allowed to return home. They were forced to leave following Wednesday’s explosion at a natural gas pipeline hub. The community of Opal had to be temporarily relocated to Little America as a precaution. U.S. Highway 30 was reopened on Thursday and residents were able to go back home 22 hours after they were first ordered to leave. Authorities are still working to determine what caused the explosion.
