Otter Approves Tax Incentive Bill
Published at(POCATELLO, ID) – Idaho Gov. Butch Otter signed a bill Thursday that will likely help lure major corporations to the Gem State. The measure provides a 30 percent refund on corporate, payroll, and sales taxes for businesses that create a certain number of jobs. The law, which goes into effect July 1, mandates that those businesses seeking the refund pay their workers wages that match or exceed the average salary of residents in the county where they primarily conduct business.
