Refilling Begins at Jensen’s Grove

(BLACKFOOT, ID) – The city of Blackfoot has begun refilling the lake at Jensen’s Grove. Late winter storms dramatically improved the snowpack in the mountains throughout the region, meaning that water recreation areas won’t be on the chopping block when it comes to meeting irrigation demands. The water, which comes directly from the Snake River, will continue pumping into the lake over the next ten days, or until it’s completely filled.
