Rocky Mountain Power Promoting Energy Efficiency

(BLACKFOOT, ID) – Rocky Mountain Power met with eastern Idaho customers Wednesday as part of an effort to promote energy efficiency. Spokesman Paul Murphy says the company is working with area businesses to keep rates low and maintain reliable service. Basic American Foods was recognized as the utility’s Wattsmart Business Partner of the Year for reducing its energy consumption by ten percent–a move that has saved the potato processing plant more than $200,000.
