Secret Service Reassigns Agents Following Drinking Incidents
Published at(WASHINGTON) — After another embarrassing run-in with alcohol, multiple Secret Service agents have now been reassigned — most notably: the head of the special operations division.
All this comes after reports last month that one agent got so drunk before President Obama arrived in Amsterdam that he passed out in his hotel’s hallway.
The agency has been in hot water for two years since the prostitution scandal out of Cartagena, Colombia, and with this latest incident, the special operations division has now tightened its rules about drinking before a presidential trip.
The head of the agency is even looking into whether new rules should be implemented for the entire workforce.
