(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Idaho will spend at least $100,000 on a plan to kill ravens in sage grouse habitats over the next two years. Fish and Game officials hope to kill as many as 4,000 ravens using poisoned chicken eggs in strategic locations. They believe there is anecdotal information suggesting that ravens could be causing sage grouse populations to decline. Poisoning efforts will take place at the Idaho National Laboratory, the Curlew National Grasslands, and in Washington County.
