Teen Breaks into Neighbor’s Home

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – An Idaho Falls teen was arrested early Friday after he was caught breaking into a neighbor’s home. Police say 18-year-old Chance Pettingill attempted to enter a home on the 300-block of Sunterra Drive around 3:40 a.m. The homeowner found Pettingill in a window well and held him at bay with a firearm until authorities arrived. Pettingill was later booked into the Bonneville County Jail on a charge of attempted burglary.
