It was a back-and-forth fourth quarter, with the lead changing four times. Dorell Wright’s free throw with eight seconds remaining put Portland up by two, but Dwight Howard’s slam with three seconds to play sent the game into overtime.

In extra time, the Trail Blazers rushed out to a seven point lead and never looked back.

Nicolas Batum scored 25 and Damian Lillard had 23 points and eight assists for Portland in the win.

James Harden led all Rockets with 28 points, while Dwight Howard had 25 points and 14 rebounds in the loss.

The Blazers are looking to win a playoff series for the first time since 2000. They can do it by winning Game 5 Wednesday night in Houston. Tip-off is set for 9:30 p.m. ET.
