Walmart Planning to Drive Down Organic Produce Prices

Walmart(NEW YORK) — Watch out Whole Foods. Walmart has unveiled plans to jump into seedbeds with Wild Oats, announcing a partnership that would bring cheaper organic goods to shoppers at the country’s largest retailer and grocery seller.
The new line consists of nearly 100 items that would be 25 percent cheaper than Walmart’s existing organic produce and will be introduced to shelves this month.
The move could portend major changes to the everyday U.S. diet on a much larger scale.
