Yellowstone to Upgrade Power Grid

(WEST YELLOWSTONE, MT) – Yellowstone National Park officials have signed off on a plan to make improvements to the park’s electrical grid. The proposal calls for new electrical towers for transferring more power to substations. Spokesman Al Nash says an increased demand for electricity has caused some power outages over the past few years, stressing the need for more power capacity. New buildings will also be added in Mammoth, Norris, Old Faithful, Madison, and Canyon Lake.
