“Searching for Sugar Man” Director Dies at 36

Michael Buckner/Getty Images for SXSW(STOCKHOLM) -- Malik Bendjelloul, a Swedish director who worked on the Oscar-winning documentary Searching for Sugar Man, was found dead in Stockholm on Tuesday. He was 36.

Police tell the Swedish newspaper Expressen the death is not being treated as suspicious.

Searching for Sugar Man, released in 2012, explored the career of reclusive American musician Sixto Rodriguez.
