Three Blackfoot Schools Go on Lockdown



(BLACKFOOT, ID) – Three Blackfoot schools went on lockdown while police were involved in a foot pursuit Thursday. Anthony Gonzalez fled the scene of an accident in the area of North University and East Pacific. Police believed Gonzalez was armed, and requested that exterior doors be locked at Mountain View, Independence Alternative, and the Sixth Grade School. Gonzalez was located about an hour after the search began. No firearm was found. Gonzalez was arrested on three felony warrants out of Bannock County.
